Pre-Delivery, PDI (Tarion) Home Inspection
The process of buying and new home can be overwhelming and once your condo or home is ready for occupancy their are several crutial steps to be followed regarding taking possession. Before you take possession of your new home or condominium, your builder is required to conduct a pre-delivery inspection, or PDI. During the PDI, it is very important to identify any items that are damaged, missing, incomplete or not operating properly. During the PDI, you or your "designate" (this can be us if you wish) should identify any damaged, incomplete or missing items as well as anything which is not operating properly. You should ensure that your builder’s representative records these conditions as this list of cosmetic defects on this day is your only defence that they were present prior to your move in.
